Our three-week journey across Brazil — the Lençóis Maranhenses, Salvador de Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, Angra dos Reis, the Iguaçu Falls and the Pantanal — was organized flawlessly from start to finish. A very special thank-you goes to Vincent Droesbeke, our travel consultant, who looked after us with extraordinary care both before and during the trip. He crafted an itinerary that balanced adventure, culture, nature and pure relaxation perfectly, and not a single detail was left to chance. He even came to welcome us in person when we landed in Rio — a thoughtful, personal touch that meant a great deal to us — and surprised us with a wonderful room upgrade on top of it. I want to share my experience with BET, as I was using their services throughout my stay in Brazil. Before arrival I was in contact with Vincent, who had lots of ideas and recommendations. We have created a plan, had a long chat and then fine-tuned it. I must admit, everything went to (if not better) the plan. Transfers were super punctual, cars spotless and the driver more than helpful. We used them both in Sao Paulo and Rio. Then there were the trips. All day in Rio with Sascha (who had all the tickets to Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf or Maracana), super nice and educational. Sascha even managed to get us tickets for Copa Libertadores, when they were sold out. Then the next day at Rosinha favela with Erik, another great experience. I speak on behalf of my group, which was 9 guys (who always know better 😀), yet we were genuinely impressed. Finally, Vincent has managed to book tables for us at very popular restaurants (Zaza & Satyricon - both awesome) on Friday and Saturday nights respectively, a task impossible. I had the incredible luck to participate in the Sambodromo as a dancer, thanks to Brazil Exclusive Travels and especially thanks to the amazing help of Antony. He accompanied me through the entire process, finding a hosting samba school last minute, engaging the super talented samba queen Egili to bring me up to speed with the choreography and he ensured on a daily basis that my dance classes, rehearsal, dress, transfer, etc unfolded as planned. All this was done in an incredibly caring and polite manner, which I truly appreciate. The result was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, parading with the best samba dancers in Rio.
