For Vincent Droesbeke, travel was never something occasional. It was part of life from the very beginning.
Born in the French city of Bourges, Vincent spent much of his childhood moving between countries due to his father’s expatriate career. Taiwan, Italy, and China all became part of his early memories, exposing him from a young age to different cultures, languages, and ways of living.
That international lifestyle naturally continued into adulthood. He studied abroad, worked abroad, and eventually took traveling to another level entirely through his professional sports career.
Before joining Brazil Exclusive Travels in 2019, Vincent competed professionally as a squash player, traveling constantly between tournaments across multiple continents. Airports, hotels, and new destinations became routine. Over time, travel stopped feeling like something extraordinary and became part of his identity.
Looking back, moving into the travel industry almost felt inevitable.

Whether traveling with friends or family, Vincent believes that stepping into the Sambadrome Marquês de Sapucaí during Carnival creates memories that stay with you forever.
Parading, hearing the drums echo through the avenue, watching thousands of performers moving together, feeling the atmosphere inside the Sambadrome – it is the kind of experience that cannot truly be explained beforehand.
As he puts it, life is about creating memories, and few places create them quite like Rio during Carnival.
Disconnecting in the Amazon
Living in Rio de Janeiro can be intense, especially after years working in luxury travel. That is why one destination became particularly meaningful for Vincent: the Amazon rainforest.
For him, the experience was the complete opposite of city life.
Five days deep in the jungle, guided by locals, surrounded by nature, disconnected from routine. Long boat rides through narrow rivers, stories shared around the forest, and the feeling of being entirely immersed in a landscape that seems untouched by time.
It was not only a trip, but also a reset.
A Passion for Fishing
The Amazon also connects with another personal passion of Vincent’s: fishing.
So much so that he already plans to return this year alongside his father, this time with a very specific mission in mind – searching for giant tucunarés, the famous Peacock Bass found in Brazilian rivers.

Brazil’s Most Powerful Natural Spectacle
Among all the places he has visited, one destination still stands out to Vincent as one of the most impressive natural experiences imaginable: Iguaçu Falls.
Having previously visited Niagara Falls, he admits the comparison only made the Brazilian experience even more memorable.
For Vincent, the sheer scale, intensity, and raw force of Iguaçu create something almost impossible to describe until you see it in person. The sound of the water, the mist rising through the forest, and the endless series of waterfalls stretching across the landscape make it feel overwhelmingly powerful.

The Dream Destination Still Waiting
Even after years living in Brazil and traveling across the country, one destination remains at the very top of Vincent’s list: the Pantanal.
For someone passionate about wildlife and nature, the idea of spotting jaguars in their natural habitat feels impossible to resist.
For Vincent, the Pantanal represents adventure in its purest form – vast landscapes, silence, incredible biodiversity, and the excitement of never knowing what might appear around the next river bend.
