What To Expect From The Experience
The experience begins with a private departure along the coastline of Fernando de Noronha, navigating through some of the island’s most scenic areas.
As the boat moves across open waters, sightings often begin subtly: small movements, shifting patterns on the surface, and then, suddenly, the appearance of dolphins moving in formation.
The species most commonly observed is the spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris), known for its distinctive acrobatic behavior, often leaping out of the water and spinning multiple times before returning to the surface.
In Noronha, these dolphins follow a natural rhythm: they spend the night feeding offshore and return to calmer coastal areas during the day to rest and interact.
From the boat, you may observe them traveling, socializing, or resting, often in groups that move fluidly through the water. The experience is intentionally unhurried, allowing space for observation without interfering with their natural behavior.
Depending on conditions, the route may include areas such as Baía dos Golfinhos, one of the most significant concentration points for dolphins in the region.
