Overview
Brazil Exclusive Travels is a boutique luxury travel agency with fewer than 10 employees and experiencing strong national and international growth. We serve an 80% international clientele and are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team, optimise our processes, and support the Executive Direction in driving the company’s expansion. We are looking for a modern, dynamic leader with proven experience in commercial management and sales within the tourism industry or premium sales sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a sales team of 4–5 executives
- Act as the strategic link between the Director and the sales team
- Develop new markets and strategic partnerships (B2B/B2C)
- Structure sales processes and commercial routines
- Set clear, achievable and strategy-aligned sales targets
- Increase total sales volume and overall revenue
- Improve the lead conversion rate across the pipeline
- Support salespeople in key negotiations and strategic clients
- Monitor individual and team performance consistently
- Prepare monthly performance reports and sales results for the Director
- Participate in hiring and onboarding new sales team members
- Research and implement sales optimisation and automation tools
- Ensure service excellence in line with luxury travel standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager, Supervisor, or Head of Sales
- Advanced or bilingual English required
- International experience (living or working abroad) is highly desirable
- Proven ability in managing and developing sales teams
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and collaborative leadership
- Hands-on profile – proactive, solution-driven and supportive
- Strong CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred)
- Solid analytical skills for interpreting metrics and sales reports
- High level of organisation, autonomy and professional maturity
- Ability to integrate smoothly into a small, dynamic, fast-growth structure
